Dogs Need Filtered Water

drinkwell360

Over the past few decades, there has been more and more research done to inform the public about the dangers of drinking tap. In a recent New York Times article, author Charles Duhigg reports, “Since 2004, the water provided to more than 49 million people has contained illegal concentrations of chemicals like arsenic or radioactive substances like uranium, as well as dangerous bacteria often found in sewage.” All of these chemicals and bacteria have proven to be dangerous to people and animals across the United States. Today, people across the country have started paying attention. More and more people are drinking filtered and bottled water. However, most people are still giving their pets a bowl of unfiltered tap water. This doesn’t have to be the case though. Studies have proven that dogs’ stomachs need protection too. Luckily, there are many products that make it easy for pet owners to give their pets some filtered, clean water.
